- She started her medical education at Government Medical College, Miraj where she was a Rank holder.
- She then went on to complete her M.S. Ophthalmology from Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune.
- She is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, U.K. & a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
- She further honed her expertise by undertaking a super-specialisation in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur.
- She then served as an Assistant Professor at Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital, Mumbai where she was involved in clinical work, postgraduate training and research work.
- She was working as a Consultant with Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, Girgaon and Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, Wadala before joining us.
