The Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI) has revealed the details of its flagship Annual Conference, scheduled for November 22–23, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi International Convention Centre (YICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. The announcement was made during a pre-event session by Dr (Prof.) Mahipal Sachdev, Chairman, Scientific Committee, IIRSI. The two-day conference will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, Cabinet Minister.
With the theme “Hindsight. Insight. Foresight.”, IIRSI 2025 aims to provide a comprehensive scientific platform rooted in past learnings, present clinical excellence, and future-ready innovations in cataract, refractive, and implant surgery. The conference is designed to enable ophthalmologists to exchange knowledge, engage with advancements, and gain hands-on exposure to next-generation technologies.
This edition will host over 700 national and international experts, including leading cataract, refractive, cornea, and anterior segment surgeons. The diverse faculty will facilitate global knowledge-sharing and discussions across a wide range of subjects, such as advanced intraocular lenses, femto-assisted cataract surgery, SMILE and lenticule procedures, corneal diagnostics, cross-linking, myopia control, and presbyopia management.
