Dr. GVN Rama Kumar

Dr. G.V.N. Rama Kumar is a Senior Consultant at Centre For Sight, Indore, with 26+ years of experience. 

He manages a wide range of eye conditions, with key focus areas including vitreo-retinal care (such as retinal tears and diabetic retinopathy), uveitis/ocular immunology (including iritis), along with neuro-ophthalmology (including optic neuritis), strabismus, and routine vision-restoring procedures like cataract surgery and LASIK.

On qualifications, he holds an MBBS (Kurnool Medical College, 2000) and MD Ophthalmology (AIIMS New Delhi, 2005), DNB from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. 

He also completed a Fellowship/Training in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai (2008), and has additional fellowships associated with the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (UK) and the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO)
