Dr. Subodh Kumar completed his ophthalmology education from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. He has undertaken various superspeciality trainings from Arvind Eye Hospital, Tirunalveli, International Centre for Eye Health, London and New Vision Laser Centre, Bombay. He has previously worked as Senior Consultant and Joint director in Venu Eye Instititute & Research Centre, New Delhi.
Dr. Sinha has participated in many clinical trials and nonclinical research projects and published many articles in peer reviewed journals. He has also participated in many National and International conferences and workshops as Resource person and has been involved in evaluation of many eye care systems.
Dr. Sumit Monga has completed his clinical fellowship and clinical associate-ship in Pediatric ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology from the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad, India (2010-12). The latter is a WHO collaborating centre for prevention of blindness. His areas of keen interest are pediatric cataract, strabismus syndromes, visually inattentive children, amblyopia, pediatric
genetic eye diseases and neuro-opthalmogical disorders. He completed his basic and higher specialty training (Residency and Registrar ship respectively) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, which is a reputed 200- bedded public eye care institution in New Delhi, India (2000-06). His rigorous residency training enabled him to imbibe the basic tenets of ophthalmology in general and pediatric ophthalmology in particular. He is a triple postgraduate in ophthalmology, having successfully completed his MS Ophthalmology (Delhi University, 2003) , DNB (National board of Examination, 2005 ) and FRCS (Glasgow, United Kingdom, 2005) examinations. Earlier, he worked as a consultant, pediatric ophthalmology at Shroff Eye Centre, New Delhi (2007-10) and Vasan eye care hospitals, Delhi (2012-2015). He has several
publications in various peer-reviewed international journals to his credit and has penned book chapters in ophthalmology textbooks. He had the privilege of presenting scientific presentations at various forums, including international conferences and won several awards. He is currently working (since march 2015) as a Consultant, Pediatric, Squint
and Neuro-ophthalmology Service in Centre for Sight, Delhi NCR.
During his tenure in Department of Ophthalmology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , Dr. Tarun was posted to Rotary Sunder Lal Eye Hospital, Chandausi, U.P for one month where he was actively involved in O.P.D, O.T, village camps, school screening programmes and sub clinics
Presently in Centre for Sight, he is managing all Anterior Segment, cataract and refractive surgery and Glaucoma cases. Apart from routine OPD diaganostic and therapeutic procedures,

Till now, he has done more than 5000 phacoemulsification procedures with a very high success rate. He is presently doing all under topical anesthesia. He has managed numerous complicated cataract cases like small pupil, hypermature/morgagnian cataracts, traumatic cataracts, uveitis, subluxated lens, posterior polar cataract, combined phaco-trabe, etc. He is independently performing Femto-laser assisted cataract surgery, Multifocal IOLs ,Toric IOLs and ICLs.
He has done more than 1500 refractive surgeries which includes customized Lasik, Bladeless LASIK, PRKs, ICL and SMILE procedures. All his patients are highly satisfied.
Dr. Tarun Choudhary completed his MBBS in 1989 from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune University, securing the University gold medal in Preventive Medicine and MS in Ophthalmology in 1998, also from AFMC, securing First position in Pune University and securing the D B Patwardhan Gold medal. Concurrently, he also completed the Advanced Course in ophthalmology, again standing first in the course and receiving the Northern Command Gold Medal. He completed DNB (Ophthalmology) in 1999, successfully completed a short term hands on course in phacoemulsification in 2001 from Shri Sadguru Sangh Seva Trust, Chitrakoot, MP, was awarded the MNAMS 2004 by the National Academy of Medical Sciences and did short term ICO fellowship in Medical Retina (2004) from University Hospital, Gent, Belgium State University, Belgium.
Dr. Choudhary’s clinical experience includes more than 24 years of distinguished service in the Indian Armed Forces as an Ophthalmologist. He is well versed in stitchless cataract surgery including Toric and Multifocal lenses, Retina diagnostics and medical retina including intravitreal injections and Retinal Laser, proficient in all glaucoma diagnostics, therapeutics and surgeries including Ex-press® shunt and valve surgeries. Dr. Choudhary was formerly Professor and PG examiner – Maharashtra University of Medical Sciences, Formerly Professor and PG examiner – Indraprastha University, Delhi and Inspector for PG facilities – Medical Council of India.
His administrative experience includes responsibility for setting up Eye departments de-novo in two Naval hospitals, active involvement in embarking on the modernization programme of all ophthalmic centres of the Armed Forces, in laying down and updating ophthalmic standards for commissioning and recruitment into the Armed Forces, instrumental and the key person responsible for awarding NABH accreditation to Air Force Central Medical Establishment on as the Chief Coordinator, NABH Accreditation.
Former positions held by him include HOD & Classified Specialist (Ophthalmology) at Air Force Central Medical Establishment, Professor of Ophthalmology at Army College of Medical sciences (ACMS), Classified Specialist & Professor (Ophthalmology) at Naval Command Hospital Asvini, Mumbai, Classified Specialist (Ophthalmology) and Associate Professor at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt. and ACMS, Classified Specialist (Ophthalmology),Naval Hospital Kalyani, Vishakhapatanam, Graded Specialist (Ophthalmology) at Chilika, Orissa and Medical Officer in the Indian Navy in various Ashore and Afloat billets.

Before being a part of Center for Sight Family she was working as a visiting Consultant in Cornea services at “Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (Germany) Her area of surgical expertise includes Refractive surgeries, Corneal Transplant, Cataract surgeries, Limbal stem cell deficiency management, Keratoprosthesis, Ocular surface rehabilitation.
