Dr. Harsh Kumar has done his MBBS (GOLD MEDALLIST) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and MD (GOLD MEDALLIST) from Dr. R P Centre, AIIMS with Bodh Raj Sabharwal Medal (topped 2 sequential batches of MD ophthalmology at DR R P Centre). He also won the best Senior resident award at Dr. R P Centre AIIMS. He was formerly the President of Glaucoma Society of India (2010-12) & Additional Professor Glaucoma unit at Dr. R P Centre, AIIMS.
Dr. Kumar has over 66 publications in indexed journals, three books and innumerable chapters in various books to his credit mostly related to his extensive work in the field of Glaucoma. He has guided over 25 students in their thesis work related to Glaucoma. Dr. Kumar has nine laser procedures for glaucoma and anterior segment described for the FIRST TIME IN WORLD literature, one being cited in the Shields text book of Glaucoma.
Dr. Kumar has conducted numerous courses successfully at AIOS and DOS as chief instructor and is a prolific teacher taking lectures throughout the country and abroad. He performs the most complicated glaucoma procedures using the latest technology available in India including valves, shunts drainage devices and routine surgeries.
Dr. Kumar has numerous awards and honors to his credit over the years. He was conferred the International Medical Scholars Programme Award (ECFMG fellowship) with a Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA (This award is given only to 20 people all over world every alternate year). He was awarded D B Chandra oration in 2007 for outstanding work in glaucoma given by the Alumni association of Allahabad University; the AN Pandeya oration award in the 44th Bihar Ophthalmological Society meeting held at Bodh Gaya in 2010; was awarded an "International Eye Foundation" (IEF) Project, Awarded for Humanitarian service (maximum number of cataract cases done in any eye camp) by Lion club, North India Region, PN Taneja Award for best paper on Retinopathy of prematurity read at Annual Pediatric Society Conference, Certificate of Merit for the best paper presentation at the Annual DOS conference, Delhi (1994), First prize in Ophthalmic Quiz held at the AIOS Conference 1990/1988, A C Aggarwal Trophy (1988) for best paper presentation in Annual meeting of Delhi Ophthalmological society, Best Resident Award (1987) for outstanding Clinical & Research performance in senior residency, Bodh Raj Sabharwal Medal (1985), secured first position in MD (Post Graduation) and maximum marks obtained in two consecutive MD batches, ICMR (1985) Fellowship for medical research, received Senior Science Talent Scholarship (1975), Best Talk of the year award from DOS (1997), Best Clinical Talk at the Annual DOS MEETING (2007), Pratap Narain Memorial Lecture given at Ghaziabad Ophthalmic Society (2008), he was the Resource teacher for DOS for a number of years regularly, has been invited guest at numerous national and international fora to talk about advances in techniques in medical and surgical management of glaucoma as well as lasers.
Dr. HemaRawal has graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh, India(1994) and done her MS from Army Hospital Research& Referral, New Delhi (Delhi University1996-1999). She then did her DNB (Ophthalmology) in 1999, Basic Sciences assessment in ophthalmology from International council of ophthalmology in 2000, FRCS (Glasgow) from Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow, UK, FNB (topped the all india FNB entrance exam 2004) - Vitreo Retina, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India, Clinical fellow - Vitreoretina, Western Eye hospital, Imperial College NHS trust, London.
She has underwent Vitreo-retina training from the prestigious L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad; Phacoemulsification training from ICARE Eye hospital & Post Graduate institute, Noida; Contact lens training from Venu Eye Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi and Short-term training in Anterior segment from R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi.

Dr. Hemlata Gupta is a graduate from GMCH, Chandigarh. She did her MS in ophthalmology from GMCH Chandigarh followed by senior residency at the same institute in comprehensive ophthalmology. She has also completed her DNB Ophthalmology in 2007.
Dr. Gupta has a special interest in refractive surgery and has done FAICO refractive surgery followed by advanced Lasik training from Baroda. She has a vast and comprehensive experience of managing all difficult and complicated cataract surgeries. She has presented papers and given instruction courses in various national and international conferences and co-authored many peer reviewed articles in various national and international journals. She had been co-editor of North Zone J of Ophthalmology, Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology and presently is Chief Editor of CFS Newsletter 'Spectrum'. She is a co-author of book chapter in refractive surgery book. She is a member of the All India Ophthalmological Society, Delhi ophthalmological society and North Zone Ophthalmological Society and Chandigarh Ophthalmological Society. She is a well-trained and skilled cataract and refractive surgeon.
Dr. Lalit Verma pursued his medical education at the graduate and post graduate level at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. He has worked for 21 years at R P Centre, AIIMS as Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Asst. Professor, Senior Resident/ Registrar and Junior Resident. Apart from Centre for Sight, he is also working presently as Vitreoretinal surgeon with Apollo Hospitals. His areas of specialization include Vitreous & Retinal Surgery, Endophthalmitis, Laser Surgery, FA, ICG, ARMD, Intravitreal Injections, PDT, TTT, etc.
He has been Invited Speaker in numerous Workshops/Instruction Courses and has presented papers in various conferences and workshops in India and abroad. He has several publications in International (Including those in Archives of Ophthalmology, Investigative Ophthalmology, JJO, IRSM, Ophthalmic Surgery, Retina etc.), National and State indexed and non-indexed journals to his credit. Dr. Verma has authored A Manual of Fluorescein Angiography + Book on Intravitreal Injections, CME Series of AIOS (on Endophthalmitis; Uveitis) and 41 Chapters in different National & International books on Ophthalmology and has undertaken 38 research projects and theses.

Dr. Mahipal S Sachdev, Chairman & Medical Director of Centre for Sight group of eye hospitals is a renowned Ophthalmic Surgeon who is recognized for his expertise in the areas of Cataract, Cornea & Refractive surgery, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Sachdev pursued his medical education at the graduate and post graduate level at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He later joined AIIMS as a Faculty Member. In the year 1989, he completed Fellowship at Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.
Dr. Sachdev is a pioneer in propagating the technique of Phacoemulsification (stitchless cataract surgery) in India. He is also widely credited to pioneer the newest generation Femtosecond laser cataract surgery and has done the maximum number of femtocataract surgeries in India. He is a leading refractive surgeon proficient in wide variety of laser vision correction procedures from LASIK to PRK, ICL and SMILE. He is also one of the fastest surgeons to reach the milestone of performing 1000 ReLEx SMILE procedures in the country.
Dr. Sachdev has been honored with Padmashri award for his excellence in the field of Medicine by Hon. President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on March 23, 2007. He has received numerous awards and distinctions in India and abroad for his contribution to Ophthalmology. He has been recognized globally with fellowships and scholarships from the “Fifth International Symposium on Immunopathology”- Japan, “International Society of Eye Research”, “Research to Prevent Blindness”, New York, “Fisons award by the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists”, USA amongst others. In India he has won the “A C Aggrawal Memorial Trophy”, “Col. Ranagachary Certificate”, “Krishna Sohan Singh Trophy”, “Dr Ishwar Chand Silver Jubilee Award” to name a few.
Dr. Sachdev has been active in imparting surgical training to the ophthalmic community. He has conducted several live surgery demonstrations in the remotest locations of India to teach and popularize the technique of suture less cataract surgery. He was the secretary of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society from 1993 to 1995 and the president for the same society in the year 2006. Under his stewardship the society was transformed from a small local body to an organization of national eminence which influences the practice of Ophthalmology in a major way both in India and abroad. Dr Mahipal was also the Chairman of the scientific committee of the All India Ophthalmological Society from 1996 to 1999, a distinction that he achieved at the young age of 38. He is presently the Chairman of Intraocular Implant & Refractive Society (India) and was earlier its Secretary. He has also been elected International Member by American Academy of Ophthalmology. In the year 1999 he was inducted to the Summit Autonomous Society USA, which recognizes leading refractive surgeons globally. He is the Indian representative at the Asia Refractive Council and has been active in various international symposia and conferences, where he has conducted courses and presented over 150 papers. He has over 100 published articles to his credit. He has also been the editor of the Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology and Visiscan and was on the editorial board of various journals like the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, Indian Pediatrics, ophthalmology World Report etc. He has authored over 5 books in the area of eye surgery including the first book on Phaco by any Indian. These books are today referred to by every budding Ophthalmologist. Dr. Sachdev is an active contributor of articles on eye health in mass media for the benefit of the general public also.

Dr (Lt Col ) Satinder Singh Mann (Retd), MBBS, MS, DNB (Ophth), MAMS is presently working as Senior Consultant with Center For Sight group of Super speciality Eye Hospitals.
He obtained his MBBS and MS (Ophthalmology) degrees from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, Maharashtra in 1988 and 1995 respectively. He topped Pune Univ in his MS exam. He qualified his DNB (Ophth) from NBE in 1996. He further underwent one year’s specialized training in Anterior Segment Microsurgery at the prestigious Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2002. After serving the Armed Forces for over 20 years, he decided to join the private sector.
He has extensive experience in doing cataract surgery by Phacoemulsification and has performed over 10,000 successful surgeries. He is also proficient in glaucoma, trauma and oculoplastic surgeries. He has had the honour of serving in a tertiary care United Nations Hospital with UN Peacekeeping troops in Sierra leone in 2000.
He has published 11 papers in indexed journals and contributed chapters in Ophthalmology text books
Dr. Sumit Monga has completed his clinical fellowship and clinical associate-ship in Pediatric ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology from the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad, India (2010-12). The latter is a WHO collaborating centre for prevention of blindness. His areas of keen interest are pediatric cataract, strabismus syndromes, visually inattentive children, amblyopia, pediatric
genetic eye diseases and neuro-opthalmogical disorders. He completed his basic and higher specialty training (Residency and Registrar ship respectively) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, which is a reputed 200- bedded public eye care institution in New Delhi, India (2000-06). His rigorous residency training enabled him to imbibe the basic tenets of ophthalmology in general and pediatric ophthalmology in particular. He is a triple postgraduate in ophthalmology, having successfully completed his MS Ophthalmology (Delhi University, 2003) , DNB (National board of Examination, 2005 ) and FRCS (Glasgow, United Kingdom, 2005) examinations. Earlier, he worked as a consultant, pediatric ophthalmology at Shroff Eye Centre, New Delhi (2007-10) and Vasan eye care hospitals, Delhi (2012-2015). He has several
publications in various peer-reviewed international journals to his credit and has penned book chapters in ophthalmology textbooks. He had the privilege of presenting scientific presentations at various forums, including international conferences and won several awards. He is currently working (since march 2015) as a Consultant, Pediatric, Squint
and Neuro-ophthalmology Service in Centre for Sight, Delhi NCR.
Dr. Vikas Menon has completed his postgraduation from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Orbit & Ocular Oncology from the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Dr. Menon specializes in plastic & reconstructive surgery of eyelids and orbit. He is also a qualified specialist for Botox treatment for cosmetic & neurological uses. His other areas of interest include tumors of eyelids, orbit, ocular surface & intraocular tumors especially Retinoblastoma. He also has vast experience in managing patients of thyroid eye disease and cases of periocular trauma. He has been invited as speaker in various national and international conferences. Dr. Menon also has to his credit publications in both indexed and non-indexed journals and chapters in text books.
