International PatientsQ1: What is the procedure to take the appointment with a consultant at Centre for Sight? A: You need to mail us your query on cfs.query@gmail.com . Our International Patient Care Coordinator will get back to you within 24 working hours. A: It is necessary though not absolutely mandatory to make an appointment. Appointments ensure that there are no untoward delays and a smooth process of check-up Q4: While making an appointment what all information is to be provided? A: To make a medical appointment, you will need to provide: your name (as it appears on your passport), current address, date of birth, a brief description of your medical problem, and your preferred appointment date. TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION: Q5: Will the hospital assist me in getting the visa formalities done? A: No, we do not assist in getting the Visa done, but yes, on insistence, we can give you contact details of appropriate agencies. Q7: Does the hospital provide transportation from airport? A: No, we do not. But on request, our International Patient Coordinator will arrange for your airport pick-up and drop-off. You would just provide us with your flight details LANGUAGE: Q8: Will the hospital provide me with a language interpreter? A: We do have a facility for a language interpretation for all of your medical appointments. In most cases, the interpreter will accompany you to your medical appointments, so that you can speak face-to-face with the physician and your interpreter. STAY: Q9: I would like to stay close to the medical centre while I receive treatment, is there something that you can help me with? A: If you want to have it arranged by the centre then you can let us know your budget and the accommodations will be made accordingly by our International Patient Coordinator Q10: Will I have to stay in the Hospital post-surgery. If yes, then what are the arrangements? COST: Q11: I have insurance from a local provider in my country, will it be accepted? A: Yes, that will be accepted. You’ll have to bring all your necessary papers, and that can be worked out here. Q12: How can I know about the cost of treatment and length of stay? A: Once you have booked an appointment and we have registered you, according to your medical need a tentative package will be designed for you. Length of stay can only be decided once you get started with the treatment. TOURISM: Q13: Apart from medical treatment what all is there to do in free time? A: India has a lot to offer. From its rich culture to shopping in ethnic markets, its colourful history to large hearted Indian, there is so much to do, that you will never get any free time during your stay. POST-TREATMENT: Q14: Once I am done with my treatment, will I be allowed to take a copy of my investigations just in case it’s required back home? A: Yes, you can take all your papers with you. Q15: What if after reaching home I have a query? Is there a doctor follow up with patients?
