Slower pupil reaction cause the iris to constrict and dilate at a much slower speed. This becomes an issue for drivers who have been drinking as they cannot adapt as quickly to oncoming headlights. So be aware and mindful to never drive under influence and always eat well before you drink.
In addition to that, always stay hydrated with substitute soda and water with soft drinks to decrease the rate of intoxication. Consuming even a small amount of alcohol can increase and exacerbate symptoms of dry eye.
