Dr. Ratan Purohit is an eminent ophthalmic surgeon from Jodhpur, providing his services to entire Western Rajasthan for the last 30 years. After completing his MS Ophthalmology from S N Medical College Jodhpur, he has done Retina fellowship under Dr. P N Nagpal at the prestigious Retina Foundation Ahmedabad. He was the first surgeon to have done such fellowship in Rajasthan (1985).
Keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field of ophthalmology, he was a pioneer in introducing various surgeries viz. Microsurgery, Phaco-Emulsification, Modern Lens Implantation, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment and Vitreous surgery in Western Rajasthan.
His academic and clinical acumen along with his liberal and altruistic attitude has brought several awards, felicitations and accolades to him. Few of the key ones include Gold medal in from Rajasthan Ophthalmic society for best scientific paper (1985), Gold medal from IIRSI (2012), conferred with Marwar Ratna by Mehrangarh Museum Trust Jodhpur for providing selfless and dedicated medical services to the society of Marwar region (2010). He was a part of a meeting by AIOS, held to decide guidelines for physicians and general ophthalmologists regarding treatment of Diabetic retinopathy (Goa, 2009)

Dr. Ritesh Narula has completed his graduation & post-graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Subsequently, he did his fellowship in vitreoretina from the prestigious L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad followed by an ICO fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery from Jules Gonin Eye Hospital, Lausanne, Switzerland. His areas of interest and expertise involve management of macular disorder, diabetic and other vascular retinopathies. Dr. Ritika Sachdev completed her basic medical education from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. Following her Masters in Ophthalmology from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi she pursued specialization in Cornea, cataract and refractive surgery from the prestigious R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Dr. Sachdev is presently working as Additional Director Medical Services at Centre for Sight. Her specialization areas include Cataract, Cornea and Refractive Surgery. Her surgical experience encompasses surgeries like Femtosecond cataract procedures, Microincision cataract surgery, LASIK & Relex Smile for laser vision correction, penetrating & lamellar keratoplasty (corneal transplantation) etc.
Dr. Sachdev’s academic journey has been adorned with awards such as Dr. Krishna Sohan Trophy 2013 by Delhi Ophthalmological Society, Dr. Dheeraj Jain Gold Medal, Lala Jeewan Mal Memorial Prize for being the best candidate in Ophthalmology (Delhi University). Dr. Roop did his graduation from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and post-graduation from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. A leading cataract surgeon of West Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Roop was one of the first surgeons to adapt Femtosecond Laser technology for cataract in the country. Recognized for his innovative techniques in the ophthalmic fraternity, Dr. Roop has been awarded runners’ up award for video on cataract surgery technique of circumferential chopping at American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, 2008. After doing MBBS (Gold medalist), Dr. Ruchi Kabra did MS (OPHTHALMOLOGY) from S.M.S Medical College, Jaipur in 2005. Then she worked as a fellow for 8 months in Cataract and Phaco surgery at Lions Karnavati Eye hospital, Ahmedabad. She pursued her interest in Occuloplasty and did a fellowship from Nagri Eye Research Foundation, Ahmedabad in 2007.
Henceforth, in 2008 joined as an Assistant Professor in M&J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology , B J Medical College, Ahmedabad. Here she gained lots of clinical experience and surgical expertise in doing Cataract, Lacrimal, Occuloplasty , Orbital surgeries, Trauma, Aesthetics and in dealing with Ocular Oncology cases. Dr. Rupal Shah is the Clinical Director, New Vision Laser Centres, a unit of Centre for Sight Group of eye hospitals. Dr. Rupal has performed over 30,000 laser refractive surgery procedures and trained over 1,200 ophthalmologists from India and abroad for laser refractive surgery and has performed surgery at more than 30 centres in India and abroad. She has the highest experience with ReLEx, all laser Femtosecond refractive surgery procedure. Dr. Rupal has a strong academic interest, and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Sangeeta has done her graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and post-graduation from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, New Delhi. She is a Fellow of Retina Foundation. He obtained his MBBS and MS (Ophthalmology) degrees from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, Maharashtra in 1988 and 1995 respectively. He topped Pune Univ in his MS exam. He qualified his DNB (Ophth) from NBE in 1996. He further underwent one year’s specialized training in Anterior Segment Microsurgery at the prestigious Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2002. After serving the Armed Forces for over 20 years, he decided to join the private sector.
He has extensive experience in doing cataract surgery by Phacoemulsification and has performed over 10,000 successful surgeries. He is also proficient in glaucoma, trauma and oculoplastic surgeries. He has had the honour of serving in a tertiary care United Nations Hospital with UN Peacekeeping troops in Sierra leone in 2000.

Dr. Subodh Kumar completed his ophthalmology education from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. He has undertaken various superspeciality trainings from Arvind Eye Hospital, Tirunalveli, International Centre for Eye Health, London and New Vision Laser Centre, Bombay. He has previously worked as Senior Consultant and Joint director in Venu Eye Instititute & Research Centre, New Delhi.
Dr. Sinha has participated in many clinical trials and nonclinical research projects and published many articles in peer reviewed journals. He has also participated in many National and International conferences and workshops as Resource person and has been involved in evaluation of many eye care systems.
Dr. Sumit Monga has completed his clinical fellowship and clinical associate-ship in Pediatric ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology from the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), Hyderabad, India (2010-12). The latter is a WHO collaborating centre for prevention of blindness. His areas of keen interest are pediatric cataract, strabismus syndromes, visually inattentive children, amblyopia, pediatric
genetic eye diseases and neuro-opthalmogical disorders. He completed his basic and higher specialty training (Residency and Registrar ship respectively) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, which is a reputed 200- bedded public eye care institution in New Delhi, India (2000-06). His rigorous residency training enabled him to imbibe the basic tenets of ophthalmology in general and pediatric ophthalmology in particular.
